Public Vinyl

Curating a wide variety of vinyl records for all musical tastes for people in the Kootenays and beyond. We carry new and used records, tapes and CD’s, turntables, speakers and music books, patches and stickers. We are passionate about bringing people together who love music and sharing our stories about how music has touched our lives and woven them together. Come by and browse through thousands of records and step back into nostalgia, or get excited about a new artist with a new release, listen to some cool tunes and chat music with Kevin and the other patrons browsing through. Public Vinyl is located inside Modern Alchemy, a boutique lifestyles and clothing store on Creston’s main street.

We acknowledge the many Traditional Custodians of this land throughout Canada. We honour their Elders and traditional Knowledge Keepers of past and present.

We respect their deep enduring connection to their lands, waterways, and neighbouring Bands since time immemorial. We cherish the richness of First Nations Peoples’ artistic and cultural expression, their being and history.

Locally, we recognise we are guests located within the Ktunaxa Territory, home of the Yaqan Nu?kiy Band who are the unceded and unsurrendered Traditional Owners on which the land we are privileged to gather, live, learn and work on.
